Voip Phone
VoIP phones utilize voice over IP (VoIP) technologies enabling phone calls can be made over an IP network, usually the internet, instead of ordinary public switched telephone network systems. Calls can be set up to use the internet or a private IP network such as an internal one belonging to an individual company or workplace. Phones of this type use a number of control protocols such as Session Initiation Protocol (SIP), Skinny Client Control Protocol (SCCP) or one of a number of proprietary protocols that a commonly used by Skype.
VoIP phones come in a number of guises such as installable software that is used via a computer or purpose build devices that look and act much like regular phones. There are increasing amounts of devices such as Wi-Fi enabled mobiles and PDAs that are loaded with SIP clients and are capable of running over an IP service.
Below is a good example of a VoIP phone:

Back to VoIP

This is a very good phone, I have setup 4 SIP accounts and work just fine.
the sound quality is crystal clear. So far so good this is the best IP phone you can get for the price.
The form factor of these phones are both visually appealing and physically comfortable to work with on a daily basis. We are using them for a Ring Central account and the setup was a breeze – even for the non-technical people. I would make one technical recommendation to purchasers: these do not come with a power supply. If you are a medium sized or larger office (not just 1 or 2 people), then I would recommend purchasing a POE switch to power the phones instead of the $15 power brick. You can then setup a backup battery for both your POE switch and office internet router/modem. This way you can centrally power everything in case of a power outage.
Got13 of these for our office… Fantasticphone – couple them with VoIP Cheap for your VoIP provider and you have the ultimate combination. Cisco equipment is always quality and support is second to none.
